LECOM's four-year osteopathic medicine program leads to a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree.
LECOM offers Florida Southern students a competitive early-acceptance pathway into four professional programs: medical, dental, pharmacy, and podiatric medicine. Students can apply while still in high school or at any point up until their senior year of college, allowing them to secure a spot and bypass the stress of the traditional application process. Complete the requirements at Florida Southern, and you are guaranteed acceptance into your LECOM program at one of their campuses in Erie or Greensburg, PA, or Bradenton, FL.
With early acceptance, you gain the freedom to fully engage in campus life, pursue leadership opportunities, and deepen your clinical experiences, all while building valuable connections with peers and mentors who share your professional ambitions.
The Early Acceptance Program has two phases, together called a track:
Phase I is your undergraduate degree at Florida Southern, four years.
Phase II is your professional degree at LECOM, typically four years.
Wherever you are on your educational journey, three things apply to every pre-health student at Florida Southern.
