In Their Words

"I love the diverse options we have across campus. I'm a big fan of the made-to-order sushi they serve at Wynee's... It's a routine for my lab mates and me to get açaí bowls at the Moc Mart now! Buckstop is always a great choice for quick food on the go."

Meal Plans Explained

A meal plan is more than a pre-paid grocery bill. It's part of the rhythm of campus life, built so students can focus on class, friends, and activities without thinking about where their next meal is coming from.

Built-In Variety

One plan works across all eight dining venues, so students aren't locked into a single dining hall or repeating the same meals.

One Less Thing to Manage

Funds load automatically every Monday. No grocery runs, no cooking after a long lab, no figuring out dinner during finals week.

Dietary Needs Covered

Vegetarian, vegan, and allergen-friendly options are available across campus — and the dining team works with students on specific accommodations.

Built for Community

Mealtimes are where friendships form, study groups meet, and the day slows down for a minute. A meal plan makes it easy to be part of that.

  • Mocs 10 Plus Plan. $1,795 per semester, the equivalent of 10 meals per week. Includes 4 weekly Swipes at Wynee's, $63 in Snake Bites per week, and $60 in Bonus Bites each semester. Wynee's meal price: $10.50.

  • Mocs 5 Plan. $950 per semester. Commuters and students in housing with full kitchens only. 55 Snake Bites per week to use at Wynee's ($11.00 per meal with return helpings) or anywhere else on campus.

  • Swipes. Used exclusively at Wynee's Bistro. Tap your FSC ID for a full meal combo with return helpings included. Refreshed every Monday; don't roll over. Not valid at Kachin Sushi.

  • Snake Bites. Florida Southern's primary campus is in Curry. One Snake Bite equals one dollar. Use them at any dining venue, the farmers market, and the Moc Mart. Refreshed every Monday; don't roll over.

  • Moc Bucks. A flexible campus account that works at dining venues, the bookstore, and laundry facilities. Add funds anytime through the FSC Portal or in person at the Business Office.

  • Bonus Bites. A semester-long cushion for weeks when Snake Bites run low. Unused Bonus Bites roll over week to week and refresh each semester.

All students living in campus housing, on-campus or in approved off-campus FSC housing, must have a meal plan. New residential students are automatically enrolled in the Mocs 20 Plus Plan. Returning students can switch plans through the FSC Portal under the Students Tab on the Financial Info page. The deadline to make changes is the Friday after the first day of classes each semester.

Florida Southern's dining team works with students to accommodate dietary needs for health, ethical, and religious reasons. Vegetarian and vegan options are available at venues across campus, and Wynee's Bistro features a dedicated Allergy-Friendly Station with rotating menus free of the nine main allergens. Students with specific requirements are encouraged to contact the Food Service Director to discuss accommodations.

  • Is a meal plan required? All students living in campus housing, on-campus or in approved off-campus FSC housing, are required to have a meal plan. Students in housing with full kitchens can choose the Mocs 5 Plan. Commuters can opt out entirely.

  • What happens if I don't use all my Swipes or Snake Bites in a week? Swipes and Snake Bites refresh every Monday and don't roll over. Bonus Bites, on the other hand, roll over week to week and refresh each semester, so they're a useful cushion for weeks when Snake Bites run low.

  • Can I change my meal plan after the semester starts? Yes. Returning students can switch plans through the FSC Portal under the Students Tab on the Financial Info page. The deadline to make changes is the Friday after the first day of classes each semester.

  • Can I use my meal plan to buy a meal for a friend or visiting family member? Swipes are non-transferable and can only be used by the student to whom they belong. Snake Bites, however, can be used to purchase meals for friends or guests at Wynee's door price.

  • What if I have a food allergy or dietary restriction? Wynee's Bistro features a dedicated Allergy-Friendly Station with rotating menus free of the nine main allergens, and vegetarian and vegan options are available at venues across campus. Students with specific needs are encouraged to contact Food Service Director John Lopez to discuss accommodations.

  • Where can I use Snake Bites? Snake Bites work at every campus dining venue, the monthly farmers market, and the Moc Mart. The only exception is the Morning Grind Coffee Cart, which does not accept Snake Bites.

  • How do I add Moc Bucks to my account? Add Moc Bucks anytime through the FSC Portal, or visit the Business Office in person Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. A convenience fee applies to online deposits.

  • Are there options for late-night studying or weekends? Yes. Tutu's Cyber Cafe stays open late for coffee and snacks, the Moc Mart is open until 11:00 p.m. seven days a week, and Wynee's Bistro serves weekend hours for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

  • What about students who go home for the weekend? Meal plans are prorated during partial school weeks, including Fall Break, Spring Break, and the final week of each semester, so the plan adjusts to match the reduced schedule.
