Academic Schools

Florida Southern is organized into six academic schools. Each one is led by a dean, staffed by faculty who teach their own courses, and built around programs that put you into real work in your field before you graduate. Your school shapes your advising, your labs and studios, and the faculty who will write your recommendation letters. It does not fence you in. Students here regularly minor across schools, add a second major, and move into a 4+1 master's track that starts during the undergraduate years.

School of Architecture

Florida Southern’s architecture program offers a unique living and learning laboratory where students immerse themselves in the principles of architecture by experiencing firsthand the visionary designs of Frank Lloyd Wright and other renowned architects.

School of Arts and Sciences

As Florida Southern College’s largest school, the School of Arts and Sciences offers more than 35 majors and provides the foundations of a liberal arts education for all Florida Southern College students.

School of Education

If making a difference in the lives of others is important to you, Florida Southern College’s School of Education offers degree programs in elementary, secondary, art, and music education.

Adult and Graduate Pathways

Every graduate and adult undergraduate program at Florida Southern is offered through one of the six schools listed above and taught by that school's faculty. The main difference is in the course delivery. Evening, hybrid, and online formats are designed for working professionals, and the Office of Adult and Graduate Admission manages admission instead of the traditional undergraduate office.

If you are returning to finish a bachelor's degree or pursuing a master's or doctorate, start there.
