I was born and raised in Washington D.C. I graduated from Johnson C. Smith University with a bachelor's degree in biology and chemistry. Then attended Florida International University and obtained a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree in 2010. I have been working as a clinician in the field for 13 years. In 2020, I became an adjunct teaching in a Physical Therapy Assistant program in Bradenton, FL. In 2023, I joined Florida Southern College as an adjunct and later accepted a full-time position. I have 2 kids and during my free time I like to run half marathons, travel internationally, and go to theme parks or the beach with my family.
